Job Description

We are committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.We are seeking passionate and dedicated Psychology Graduates from Anglia Ruskin University to join our team as Teaching Assistants in primary and special needs schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to support the academic, social, and emotional developmentof students.Type: Full Time (Term-Time only) (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)Salary: £13/hrResponsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioral challenges.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to create and adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Right To Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by the school and regulatory authorities.
  • International Students are required to provide Overseas Police Check.
