Job Description

Procurement Consultants East of EnglandContractRT Consulting deliver innovative change & transformation programmes to the Defence, Central Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, Transport and Rail Sectors both in the UK and Globally. Having developed partnerships amongst the Top Consultancies, our Associates are challenged to bring expert knowledge and creativity to drive sustainable and lasting change across our programmes.Our Associates are an integral part of our business and RT Consulting having recently secured several prestigious opportunities whereby we are looking to demonstrate capability across several our programmes.We are looking to expand our team of experienced Procurement Consultants within our Defence Portfolio to support various projects within cost saving and operational efficiency. The requirement has an initial duration of 7 weeks, with consultants being requireed on site in Cambridgeshire 2/3 days per week.We are looking for Procurement Consultants that have experience in large scale Defence and/or Aerospace experience and have:

  • Experience of analysing and improving operational procurement procedures and processes
  • Proven experience of improving operational efficiency
  • Experience of gathering, analysing, and reviewing programme data and presenting forthcoming recommendations
  • Lean/Six Sigma
  • Procurement experience with complex assembles and blue-collar materials/components
  • The ability to build strong relationships with shop floor executives alongside excellent stakeholder management
