Job Description

We are currently working with a well-established, local property maintenance company who are looking to expand their team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a background of doing plumbing, in a planned and reactive maintenance setting in domesticproperties. The ideal candidate would be based in Cambridge or in an around surrounding village.The work will be predominantly in the Cambridgeshire area and some work in the surrounding counties on occasion, someone who is used to a mobile role would be advantageous but not essential. You should be a good team player, as well as a competent and pragmaticdecision maker for when you are working independently.Duties:

  • Attend scheduled appointments
  • Fault-finding and rectification
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide accurate records of all repair work and report findings to the office daily
  • Complete appointment related documentation
  • installing taps, pumps and pipes when necessary
  • Representing the company in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
  • At least 2 -3 years’ experience in plumbing
  • Full UK driving license
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent in the relevant job disciplines
  • Unvented (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide accurate records of all repair work and report findings to the office.
  • A can do attitude with a willingness to complete a wide variety of different tasks. - Ability to perform tasks alone or in a team to a high standard without constant supervision.
