Job Description

We are excited to be representing a global market leader in their search for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing team, working on a hybrid basis from their offices in the North of Cambridge.This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days from the office and 2 from home, along with flexible start and finish times, salary in line with experience, including a study support package for the successful person - along with many other benefits.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be required to provide support in creating and presenting monthly management accounts, analyse financial data by creating reports and financial models to support decision making, whilst helping with projects andother finance related tasks. Typical duties include:

  • Support in the creation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly supplementary reports
  • Complete monthly VAT returns
  • Stock analysis
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation, including prepayments and accruals, fixed assets and inter-companyreconciliations
  • Support the wider business to assist the financial improvement of the company
  • Publish updates to sales pricing within their ERP system
  • Quarterly reporting, looking at key metrics affecting balance sheet and P&L - providing analysis to prior year
  • Monthly overhead analysis
  • Assist with interim and year end audits
Applications are invited from individuals with the following skills and experience:
  • Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Previous experience in a global multi product company
  • Must be able to manage own workload and time efficiently
  • Driven person, looking for a company who can offer career progression
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Any experience of Power BI or equivalent would be advantageous
