Mechanical Design Engineer - £35k-£40k- Cambridge - Electro-MechanicalMy client design and develop precision electro-mechanical products from concept stages through to production. Theyre looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the team to take ownership of projects, have a strong technical input intoproduct development and come up with new and innovative designs to develop the next generation of electro-mechanical products.Main Duties:+ Design and develop new products+ 3D CAD design+ Analyse and test of precision micro-mechanical designs+ Integrate and package electrical sub-assemblies+ Design for manufacture+ Work as part of a team and on individual projectsSkills and experience required:+ Degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline+ Strong 3D CAD skills - ideally Solidworks+ Experience in FEA+ Proficient in GD&T+ Experience in high precision design+ Experience in designing electro-mechanical productsThe salary will be between £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience with the company able to offer more for the right candidate.
