Location: Cambridge (CB3)Duration: PermanentHours: 8am until 4pm with some flexibility (Monday to Friday) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000Job Reference: 34913Polytec are looking for a Laboratory Technician with expertise in microfluidics or experimental physics for our Cambridge based client.Responsibilities:* Maintenance of platform fluidics and optics* Wet testing of microfluidic products and new platform features* Preparation of reagents and platforms for experiments* Record and write up documentationRequirements:* Excellent degree (first-class or 2:1) in Bioengineering, Biophysics or Physics with technical, hands-on track record in one of these* Experience in Optics, Microfluidics and / or Assay development* Experience with microscopy and optical imaging systems would be beneficial* A background knowledge in biophysics, biochemistry or biology would be an advantagePlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
