Weprovidebespoke onsite & remote support to ground-breaking SMEs in industries like biotechnology, life sciences, and finance.Wereall about long-term relationshipsthat embody our core values ofClarity,Partnership, andQuality.The role• Supporting 4-6 clients, working on-site 4 days a week (varying between Cambridge, Stevenage, and London (West and Central).• We aim for you to work 1 day a week from home but may berequiredto come into our Cambridge office.• You will be given excellent training and will have assistance from your colleagues.• You will be part of delivering varied and interesting IT projects.• You will beprovidingguidance and advice for clients.What we need from youEssential skills and experience:• The ability to build strong relationships and gain the trust of the clients you visit.• Excellent customer service: you must be a people person with patience and be able to communicate effectively.• Great problem-solving skills with the ability to see the challenge through.• Excellent and proven technical skills within a Windows environment, with an ability to pick up and troubleshoot issues.• Experiencein managing on-prem Active Directory and other Windows server roles.• Experiencein managing Microsoft 365 tenancies across various products such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.Desired skills and experience:• Exposure to virtualisation, either through VMware or Hyper-V, and an understanding of the core functionality.• Exposure to running clients in a hybrid environment with AD DS and AAD.• Exposure to virtualisation on Azure or AWS.• Exposure to serverless public cloud-based services, such as Azure Blob Storage.• Experience with backup systems and storage platforms.• Core understanding of networking andfirewallmanagement.• Experience with Linux and MacOS.What we will offer you:• We are a friendly bunch with passion and ambition!• Certifications through our partnership with Microsoft.• Profit share scheme.• BUPA health insurance and enhanced pension scheme.• Expensed travel when on-site to clients, subject to our expenses policy.• 33 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), increasing by one day every 2 years you work withus.• Social events, such as go karting, pizza making, escape rooms and many more!• If required, we can offer you visa sponsorship after your Visa ends.
