Spider is supporting to recruit for an HR Manager / Leader for a growing neuroscience technology business based in Bottisham, Cambridgeshire.About the companyThey are a world-leading neuroscience technology company optimising the assessment of cognition for better brain health with scientifically validated digital health solutions. The company is at an exciting point in its evolution, having developed and launchedseveral new digital health solutions for clinical trials over the last few years.As the HR Manager / Leader, you will be reporting to the CEO, your role will be pivotal to the success and growth of the business in enabling our team members to deliver their best work. You will be ultimately owning the people strategy and plan,and monitoring and reporting on all people-related KPIs. You will be leading on employer brand and talent acquisition as a key part of the strategy. You will be managing talent development and succession planning. Providing advice on recruitment and selectionstrategies and support the recruitment processthis may include managing agencies, writing job descriptions, selection of routes to access candidates, and preparing interview questions.Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning the strategy to deliver a healthy culture and high employee engagement.
  • Developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Advising managers on the terms and conditions of employment, share best practice with them and grow people manager capability across the organisation.
  • Managing employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence.
  • Implementing learning and development policy, managing training companies.
  • Participating in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
This HR Manager / Leader role would be ideal for someone who is a highly experienced Senior HR Manager or HR Business Partner, who has the ability to work at all levels of the organisation and is ready to take on full responsibility for HR, both operationallyand strategically. You will be either educated to degree level and have a CIPD qualification or have equivalent experience. You will need proven HR generalist with experience of three to five years. You will have have leadership ability to develop HR staff.Have exceptional organisational and communication skills together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.This is a full-time position. A competitive salary is on offer dependent on skills and experience. Hours are Monday to Friday 09:0017:30 with a 1-hour lunch break.
