Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Hospitality Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)*Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity*Full training and support willbegiventocandidatestoachieve the Level 3 Award in Education and TrainingLocation:Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel throughout Cambridgeshire and surrounding areasSalary:£28,000 - £30,000 - Depending on qualificationsPackage:Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + much more!Type:Full-time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

  • Must have experience of working within Front of House and Back of House in a Pub, Restaurant or Hotel setting (Front of House experience must be at Deputy level).
  • Must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Hospitality (for exampleany of the following:Professional Cookery, Food Production,Food andBeverage, Reception, Housekeeping).
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality up to Level 3, across Back of Houseand Front of House specialisms.
  • Deliveringvia a blended learning approach(Remote/online delivery and some face-to-facelearning).
  • Managing your diary efficientlytoensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress.
  • Support,advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barrierstolearning andadapt deliverytomeet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and generaladministration.
Personal Skills:
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the abilitytoplan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the abilitytoinspire and motivate people.
