Job Description

Manpower Cambridge are looking for a Heat Treatment Operative for a National business.As a Heat Treatment Operative, your primary role will contain the following responsibilitiesCarrying out heat treatment production activities:

  • Perform secondary contract review
  • Surface preparation of customer work (cleaning, blasting, stopping off)
  • Establish efficient production loading using jigs and fixtures
  • Preparation of furnace loads
  • Testing of production loads
  • Data log review
  • Packing and dispatch
Additional expectations of the role will also entail the following:Carrying out all activities with reference to company operating procedures, data sheetsFollow company health and safety proceduresFixture management, maintenance and repairDaily/weekly/monthly furnace checks5S and housekeeping activities within the departmentHours of work will be Monday - Friday initially moving over to a shift rotation.For more information contact Antonino on
