A Leading B2B Marketing Solutions ProviderCompetitive Salary (circa £65k) + Uncapped OTEAre you a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader with a passion for science and technology Do you have a proven track record of success in the B2B marketing and media solutions arena If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to lead a high-performingsales team in a rapidly growing organisation.Our Client: A leading B2B marketing solutions provider operating in the science and technology sector, with a special focus on the photonics industry. The company is well-established and poised for significant growth. They are on the lookoutfor an exceptional individual to join them as the Head of Sales and play a pivotal role in driving our next phase of expansion.Responsibilities:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of our clients products, value proposition, and the dynamics of the B2B digital marketing landscape in this sector.
  • Leading, developing, and expanding your sales team to consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Ensuring your teams personal development plans and performance-based feedback are in place.
  • Achieving new business and key accounts targets.
  • Cultivating and maintaining high-level relationships with key vendors in our sector.
  • Addressing underperformance through a supportive, direct, and process-led approach.
  • Providing written and verbal weekly reporting of performance against core metrics.
  • Collaborating with the editorial, marketing, and customer success departments to achieve acquisition, renewal, and engagement objectives.
  • Building and maintaining team-generated target lists of leads in CRM to support an agreed sales plan.
  • Developing and optimizing the sales process.
  • Contributing to the overall growth of the business as a member of the senior management team.
  • Managing a team budget that covers training, client visits, event attendance, sales tools, and other expenses.
  • Setting and managing commission targets within agreed boundaries and providing information to HR on a monthly basis.
  • Recruiting and on boarding of new team members.
About YOU:
  • 5-8 years of experience in selling B2B marketing and media solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring high-performing sales teams in the digital media business.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving outstanding results for both yourself and your team.
  • The ability to formulate and execute a commercial strategy that drives substantial growth.
  • A proactive and consultative/challenger sales approach and strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • The capability to collaborate effectively with other department leaders (content, marketing, and customer success) to execute a comprehensive commercial strategy.
  • A history of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, and ambitious mind-set.
  • Proven expertise in understanding B2B marketing in your specific sector, effectively communicating with senior executives, and driving growth in a competitive market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A track record of networking and continuous learning in the media/marketing solutions industry.
