A huge opportunity for a Head of Market Access is being hired for within a top biotechnology company, who aim to apply innovative technologies and revolutionary assays to the analysis of genetic variation and function, positively impacting the world of personalisedmedicine. Key details include: Salary - £ Highly Competitive. Working pattern - Remote Programme. Availability - Anywhere between immediately available and a 6 months notice period. You must have the right to work and be located in the UK. Overview:This position plays a pivotal role in leading this critical function at the forefront of driving patient access for genomics through partnerships with European Payers. It requires strong leadership skills, with both strategic vision and tactical capabilitiesto develop regional strategies and translate them into tactics to drive execution. Additionally, to be a strong collaborator leading internal interactions with multiple functions (e.g., Marketing, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Commercial, Global MarketAccess Teams and members of the Regional Senior Leadership team) to drive the execution of the Plan of Action for Market Access in Europe. External relationships will include Payers, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies and other stakeholders involvedin reimbursement decisions such as Key Opinion Leaders, patient advocates, Trade Associations, and professional organizations. Expectations:To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated extensive experience in dealing with payer and HTA submissions, reimbursement, and pricing in relevant local markets with success getting products reimbursed. You will have a deep understanding of payerdecision making processes and evidence required to obtain reimbursement for healthcare products in Europe. You will have an extensive understanding and experience in diagnostics / Health Technology product commercialization across therapeutic areas or multipleindications is desirable.
