Head of Geography - Independent Senior SchoolLocation: CambridgeStart Date: September 2024Contract: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: CompetitiveOur client, an excellent co-educational boarding and day school in Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a highly qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic Head of Geography.Its a full time and permanent post that would begin in September 2024. The Geography department is a well-established and forward-thinking department which attracts high numbers at GCSE and A Level.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a very strong academic record and standing
  • Have a very good understanding of the academic disciplines within the department.
  • Have the ability to teach Geography to A level/Oxbridge level
  • Be enthusiastic, confident and diligent
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with students and colleagues
  • Have an excellent understanding and awareness of Safeguarding procedures
