Reed are partnering with a fantastic charitable organisation based south Norfolk, recruiting for the position of Fundraising Manager, to join their friendly and collaborative Fundraising team on a Permanent basis.You will responsible for the strategy, operational plan and delivery of fundraising income from charitable trusts and foundations, developing &growing the income for projects, specific appeals and general funding (circa £300-£350k per annum).Responsibilities• Develop and manage the strategic approach and operational plan for fundraising from trusts and foundations (T&Fs) & other grant-making bodies• Work as part of the managerial team, contribute to development & delivery of the fundraisingstrategy, policies &processes.• Train & support staff, volunteers &work placements assisting with T&Fsresearch, reporting &proposal-writing.• Manage budgets &achieve targets• Liaise with other departments to gain infofor project reports, proposals & applications, ensure project timetables & costings are achievable &accurate.• Manage &undertake research of potential T&Fsfunding sources and new funding initiatives as they emerge, taking the lead in applications to new T&Fsand other charitable grant-making organisations.• Develop and manage a yearly rolling programme of applications to maintain and grow charitable income targets.• Submit applications to major T&Fsable to award grants of £20k+ and where possible to secure multi-year funding.• Develop and manage a network of key contacts within grant-making organisations, T&Fs.• Ensure fulfilment of funding obligations inc.submission of reports, PR and publicity requirements, financial claimsand other requirements set by the funding body on agreement of funding support.• Ensure compliance• Lead on individual lottery bids• Brief and manage consultants and agencies to assist with fundraising• Manage press matters and promotion of grants, development of fundraising materials• Represent the company at events & conferences, including external and internal groups and eventsPerson requirements• 3+ years’ experience in Trusts and Foundations Fundraising, delivering income growth from the charitable sector• Strategic thinking and managerial experience• Strong knowledge of fundraising principles• Ability to establish, develop and manage fundraising relationships.• Experienced writing applications and seeing the process through, with reporting experience• Excellent organisational skills, able to meet deadlines and budget targets.• Drive, enthusiasm and creativity.• Build relationships at all levels• Negotiation and influencing• Results driven, strong use of initiative• Strong written and verbal communicationDesirable,• Arecognised fundraising or marketing qualificationPackage• Salary of £33,000 - £37,300 dependant on experience• Annual leave -25 days plus bank holidays• Life assurance 4xSalary• 11% pension contribution• Employee Assistance Programme• Enhanced sick pay• Enhanced Family leave• Retail discounts• Cycle to work scheme• Flexible hybrid working• Free eye tests• Car parking• Staff groups and forums• Commitment to an inclusive environment and sustainabilityPlease apply online as soon as possible with your updated CV if youre interested in this fantastic opportunity or contact Nikki Cranmer at Reed Norwich.
