Job Description

Wex Photo Video is the destination for enthusiast, professional photographers and filmmakers across the UK.Wex delivers customers a market-leading product offering, extending to over 20,000 products, providing a comprehensive choice across all product categories, with a dedication to service, expertise, and customer satisfaction.We want our customers to feel confident about every purchase they make with us. Whether its a brand-new camera or an item from our Pre-Loved range.We treat all our customers with the care and attention that is expected from the UKs biggest photo retailer. There are 12 Wex stores located in cities around the Country. This role will be based in our Cambridge store.What youll be doing:Youll use your passion and experience in photography and /or videography to ensure Wex customers receive quality advice and assistance. Enabling customers to identify and purchase the best products for their needs.You will be working to provide excellent customer service and visual merchandising standards.Whilst in the role you will be able to constantly keep up to date with the latest technology, learn about and trial new technology.Objectives:

  • Ensure customers receive a warm greeting both in store and on the phone
  • Ascertain customers needs and wants.
  • Recommend and demonstrate items that match customers needs.
  • Answer emails and calls efficiently and quickly.
  • Help increase the companys growth through sales maximisation.
  • Work from leads and requests generated from the team and yourself.
  • Increase awareness of repairs and rentals.
What youll need:
  • Retail sales experience, advantageous if this was photographic or video sales.
  • Practical experience of using photographic and video equipment.
  • A passion for creativity, especially in the photographic arts.
  • Confidence and ability to demonstrate equipment.
  • A friendly communication style with your team and customers.
  • Enthusiasm for social media and an understanding of networks and trends.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A desire to help and make customers happy.
