Job Description

Role:Finance AssistantLocation:CambridgeHours: Full timeSalary: £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experienceI am looking for a highly motivated Finance Assistant to join a fun but hard-working Finance team. You’ll take ownership of the purchase and sales ledgers and assist with month-end activities.What’s in it for you

What will you be doing in the Finance Assistant role
  • Post supplier invoices
  • Maintain employee expense cards including actioning top ups and posting the transactions monthly.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs and one-off payments
  • Circulate debtors reports weekly
  • Post/import the bank transactions for multiple bank accounts weekly and prepare the month end bank reconciliations.
What we would like from you:
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Highly numerate with good attention to detail
  • Experience of using accounting software
  • Competent in the use of Excel and other Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook.
  • Desirable - Competent in the use of Sage 200
