JOB AD:Equipment EngineerNear CambridgePAYE Rolling Contract - 3 yearsMUST be able to work in the UK without a visa.My globally well-known client is currently recruiting for an Equipment Engineer to become part of their facilities and equipment team cross functional working. You must support the wafer fab production and product development within the fab and service area.Duties:Undertake Preventative Maintenance to optimize MTBF to avoid equipment downtime.Reactive maintenance down to component level/Root cause.Completing all relevant paperwork and data inputting Work efficiently to ensure all equipment work is completed in a safe manner.Ensure all maintenance logs and records are up to date.Liaise effectively with the team on site as well as external contractors.Complete all relevant environmental tasks.Control or assistance with breakdowns.Good housekeeping and completing jobs to a satisfactory standard always complying with manufacturing procedures.Working to deadlines under pressure.To be considered for this role you will have the following:Working on fab tools, PVD, CVD, Wafer thinning and polishing. Photolithography, Stepper, MOCVD, Plasma.Engineering Qualification (HNC/HND) equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline with 5+ years experience of undertaking manufacturing equipment maintenance. Ideally in the semiconductor wafer fabrication area.Experience working within complex process environments, ideally including cleanroom environments.Strong semiconductor equipment engineering background.Ability to work and communicate effectively with equipment vendors
