DNA Manufacturing Technician (Night Shift) Contract: Permanent Location: CambridgeSalary: £22,000 + 33% shift uplift Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 7amAre you a dedicated technician looking to make an impact in the Health and Life Sciences FieldMy client, an international scientific organisation is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their Cambridge-based production team. Reporting to the Night Shift Supervisor, this role offers an opportunity to play a vital role in enhancing theirDNA manufacturing operations.As a Manufacturing Technician your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Operating DNA synthesis and purification equipment
  • Monitoring and replenishing reagents as needed for production
  • Performing quality control checks, ensuring compliance with departmental quality manufacturing standards for each batch
  • Accurately recording data on the electronic database, making sure its in compliance with ISO 9001
As a Manufacturing technician, youll need the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
  • Experience in following SOPs and guidelines
  • Strong computer skills
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Strong prioritising skills and ability to manage workload efficiently
  • A proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention to detail, both in written and numerical form
