Job Description

My Client - a leading neuroscience technology company within the Science and Research industry is looking for a Data Manager - ETL Reporting, ORACLE to oversee a crucial internal project over the next 6 months on a day rate contract basis in Cambridge.Client DetailsMy Client is a leading neuroscience technology company within the Science and Research industry.DescriptionThe successful candidate for Data Manager - ETL Reporting, ORACLE 6 month contract role based in Cambridge will fulfil the following responsibilities -

  • Direct liaison with the client & internal study team from kick-off to study close-out to guide the client through the data management processes
  • Provide consultative expertise to clients on good data management practice in relation to our clinical data
  • Provide estimates of time and costs for delivery of standard and custom data management activities
  • Project Management of the data management deliverables ensuring on time in scope delivery for assigned studies
  • Perform regular review of study priorities
  • Provide guidance to auditors on our end-to-end DM process
  • Delivery of start-up activities including development of Data Management Plan and Data Transfer agreement specifications and test transfers
  • Review queries and assign appropriate action
  • Set up and manage data transfers
  • Provide efficient data cleaning, reconciliation, import and export of the clinical data and maintain all associated documentation required under GCP
  • Co-ordination of interim and final database lock
  • Develop bespoke client data reports and custom data extraction requests using Clover ETL
  • Direct continuous process improvement within the team refining SOPs and work instructions as required
  • Continue to build knowledge regarding the application of appropriate data management tools and procedures and propagate this within the company
ProfileTo be considered for the Data Manager - ETL Reporting, ORACLE 6 month contract role at my clients site in Cambridge, the candidate must present evidence of the following -
  • Data management experience within a clinical trial environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Programming of ETL tools, for example Clover ETL
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised, methodical approach
  • An analytical mindset with problem solving skills
  • Experience and commitment to maintaining quality records
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated process improvement to support GCP compliance would be preferable
  • Demonstrated experience building strong working relationships with external clients
  • Demonstrated process improvement in data management processes
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Clinical data management system experience (e.g., ORACLE Clinical, Medidata) would be ideal
  • SQL or other database query language skills is preferred
  • Programming of Statistical tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, or R)
  • Experienced in version control
  • Familiarity with JavaScript
