Job Description

CREDIT RISK MANAGER£70,000 + BONUS CAMBRIDGESHIREABOUT THE COMPANYThis esteemed lender offers both secured lending solutions and savings accounts. With small, agile teams, theres ample room for ownership and impactfulchange, particularly in this pivotal role.THE ROLEWere in search of a seasoned and meticulous Credit Risk Manager to steer the performance of our credit risk portfolio across all lending operations.THE ROLE

  • Crafting, revising, and maintaining credit policies in accordance with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the efficacy of credit policies, advocating for adjustments when necessary.
  • Conducting comprehensive analysis of credit portfolios to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Offering actionable insights to optimize the organizations credit risk-return profile.
  • Strengthening credit risk frameworks to align with strategic objectives and risk appetites.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate credit risk frameworks into broader risk management strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of industry shifts and regulatory updates, adjusting frameworks accordingly.
  • Generating and managing detailed MI reports for credit risk, delivering regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Delivering clear and concise presentations to senior management, showcasing findings, recommendations, and insights.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience in first or second-line credit risk management.
  • Experience in secured lending is advantageous.
  • Essential lending experience: unsecured lending is acceptable.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • £70,000 base salary.
