Corporate Finance Assistant (Graduate)£25-27,000Remote Working (It is essential the candidate lives within one hour of Cambridge)UK Driving Licence essentialA brand new opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to join a corporate finance boutique based around Cambridge as a Trainee Corporate Finance Assistant.Although having experience within a work placement will be of interest we are looking for a candidate who is at Trainee level, therefore full training will be given.This role is a great opportunity for a bright graduate to establish themselves in the Corporate Finance arena. It is a full time permanent position and will be working alongside an experienced team. There is no permanent office but the team meets regularly therefore it would be essential that the successful candidate does not reside further than one hour from Cambridge. There is an element of UK travel involved with this role therefor you will need to be able to drive.The tasks and duties will involve;o Compilation of information on client businesses and incorporation into e.g. Information Memorandao Producing basic financial overviews and analysis on client businesses/markets.o Researching background information on potential new clientso Identifying potential target companies for projects using in house and subscription databases and the interneto Reviewing and recording Mergers & Acquisition activityo Researching markets and businesses as requiredo General office duties and administrationo Preparation for, and attendance at client/prospect business meetingsIt is essential to have a relevant degree in possibly Maths, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or similar. Ideally you will also have some accounting expertise (e.g. part of your degree course or AAT qualified or equivalent), above average MS Excel skillsplus excellent written and spoken English. You will ideally have spent a year (or equivalent) in industry as part of your degree, or before or since graduation.The successful candidate will be bright and capable, have a good attitude with a can do approach, and as this role will involve attending meetings and speaking to clients, will have a high level of professionalism.Ideally they are seeking a candidate who has completed a Finance Degree and has experienced a years placement within the Industry.Please contact Ruth on for further information
