We are currently looking for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a leading Biotechnology company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Clinical Laboratory Technologist you will be responsible for the sample processing of various human samplesand having exposure to develop performing highly complex laboratory testing procedures and validations.This is a fantastic opportunity for a scientist with previous clinical laboratory experience to be part of a growing and innovating team improving patient care in a cancer reference laboratory.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will be responsible for the initial processing of blood samples to plasma for DNA extraction, as well as processing other human samples and body fluids.2. You will take an active role ensuring the smooth running of laboratories, receive and accession incoming packages, and document specimens according to SOPs.3. You will apply your data entry experience using Laboratory Management Systems (LIMS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)4. As the Clinical Laboratory Technologist you will participate in continuous training and ensure maintenance of the labs are kept to a high standard. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Clinical Laboratory Technologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a life sciences discipline.2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory setting.3.
