We currently have multiple requirements for experienced (and highly technical) Business Development Managers with knowledge of medical devices and healthcare technologies such as clinical, drug delivery or diagnostics systems. In this role, we are looking for a Business Development Manager with an Engineering or Scientific background and solid medical device expertise to join one of the UKs leading product design companies. As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for raising the companys corporate profile, building customer relationships, creating proposals and executing strategic R&D projects for clients. This will also include taking a commercial lead role on complex, multidisciplinary medical and healthcare technology development projects, ensuring the companys team of world-class R&D Engineers & Scientists are designing the right product, at the right price point to meet the clients requirements and market demands.Current focus areas include drug delivery devices, surgical & intervention products, wireless / eHealth, medical diagnostic & instrumentation systems and consumer healthcare devicesTo succeed in the role of Business Development Manager -Medical & Healthcare Technology, you will need an excellent technical degree ( eg BSc, MSci, MEng, MChem, MBioChem, MRes -or possibly PhD) in a relevant discipline, such as electronics engineering, applied physics, mechanical or biomedical engineering. In addition to technical skills, you will have relevant commercial experience in business development or consultancy sales including bids, proposals, RTT, etc in one of the key market focus areas.The following would also be beneficial:
