Job Description

Business Development Manager - cambridgeAre you an experienced Business Development Manager (marketing) looking for a new role If so , I have an opportunity to Join an award winning consultancy firm.You will work with the Head of Business Development, the Partners and the team business development managers to deliver Group business development activities. You will lead one part of their bd programme that trains a selected group of fee earners in a specificmarket. You will also implement business development strategies, client targeting, pitching and client management.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the groups business strategy
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing activity in the business plan
  • Providing guidance, advice and coaching to fee earners on business development activities
  • Leading one part of our internal Generate programme and evaluating its success
  • Improving Bid management process and outcomes
  • Managing large scale pitches
  • Using the CRM system for client targeting
About you:
  • Experience in:
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Development of business plans and strategies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal colleagues and external clients at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
