Job Description

Business Development Manager £45,000 - £55,000Hybrid - 2/3 days out of the Cambridge office or at events - subsidised parking on-siteDo you have experience in New Business Development, with an agency backgroundI am working with a Cambridge based digital agency, looking for a Business Development Manager to report in to the Business Development Director. You will be an effective, client focused BDM focusing on acquisition of new clients, you will identify, createand maintain a database of key contacts within the target sectors.To be successful in this role you will also be responsible for:

  • Cold calling new business leads and following up on existing leads
  • Creation and delivery of presentations and proposals, responding to tenders, and preparing and attending pitches where opportunities have been identified.
  • Ensuring marketing collateral is meeting the business development needs, considering gaps, opportunities and including case studies.
  • Carrying out research to support the identification of new lead opportunities and deliver market intelligence that will help identify and shape the development for new business projects.
You will be required to have the following skills and experience:
  • Having worked within or with a marketing agency – working with membership and association industries would be ideal
  • Be a strong resilient business developer.
  • Experience using PowerPoint or Google slides to create proposals and pitches
