Reporting to the President, Dame Madeleine Atkins, the Bursar is the senior financial officer of the College, accountable to the GoverningBody for its financial wellbeing. The Bursar will have overall responsibility for all matters affecting the Colleges finances and endowment, estate, IT, staffing, and legal affairs. They will bring an analytical and data-driven approach to the managementof the Colleges finances, carefully stewarding - and maximizing the return on - the Colleges assets. They will advise the Governing body on financial issues and their risk management.Candidates will bring a solid track-record of financial management and strategic planning, with skills in project management. They will be proactive and strategic thinkers with an agile approach to growth and development. They will be team-players with commercialacumen, and will be confident engaging with the Governing Body and donors, as well as staff and students.
