We are delighted to be partnering with an exciting, growing organisation based just south of Cambridge, as they seek to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role has become available due to an internal move, and within this role youwill report into the Finance Director. This role offers variety to it, covering accounts for 3 separate entities, with the opportunity for progression over the next 2-3 years.As the incoming Assistant Accountant, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:- Posting and paying multi-currency invoices- Weekly bank reconciliations- Posting accruals, prepayments and depreciation journals- Reconciling balance sheets- Assisting with year - end audit requestsIn order to be successful in this position, you will have previous experience working in a similar level Assistant Accountant role, and have strong knowledge of accountancy processes and procedures. You will also possess excellent excel skills, and ideallybe able to do Pivot Tables and V Lookups, although this can be taught for the right candidate.
