The post codes you will covering are CB, SG & PE. You will create and develop an area sales plan for the agreed geography in line with the regional sales plan creating a clear vision of how individuals prospects and customerscan contribute towards the overall plan objectives.This really is an excellent opportunity for an somebody to come into a dynamic, close-knit team with high levels of trust and collaboration.   • Ability to consultative sell offering solutions not products
  • Project management skills with the ability to work concept to closure
  • Experience / Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred
  • The ability to introduce and promote new products to your customers
  • Experience in delivering profitable sales in a sales role
  • Effective Communications and Influencing Skills
  • Ability to work as a team, collaborating across depts.
  • Self-motivated, organised and using CRM to support the business plan and needs of customers
  • Ability to adapt to change and be agile in ways of working to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Develop and manage customer relations, managing key stakeholders
What you will be doing:
  • Create and develop an area sales plan for the agreed geography in line with the regional sales plan creating a clear vision of how individuals prospects and customers can contribute towards the overall plan objectives. Plans to be executed with key stakeholders in Merchants, Distribution & Installers
  • Actively engaging and encouraging your own development by taking ownership of your individual development plan with the assistance, coaching and mentoring from your line manager and other members of the business if appropriate
  • Bring your individual style and personality to your day-to-day activities whilst operating within the wider culture of the channel. Being as actively engaged with other teams as you are with your own in order to sustainably deliver the objectives of thearea plan
  • Implementation of the area plan, including the negotiation of trading terms for independent accounts, discussions with Sub Contractors and MCFA Partners in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director and cross channel colleagues, to deliver the best possiblebalance of volume, product mix and profitability
  • Development and implementation of new product area plans, in line with national and regional sales plans, to deliver sales in line with our Product Leadership objectives
  • Be the focal point for the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained. Condition sub-contractors anddistributors
  • Supporting our purpose of "making the world a better home" and specifically contribute to our target of zero carbon by 2050
