Job Description

Android Application DeveloperA brilliant opportunity for an Android Developer to develop mobile applications for a ground-breaking software company.This successful Cambridge software house has won numerous awards and is already well positioned on the international stage as one of the leaders within their pioneering area of technology.Improving their mobile offering is currently a significant focus, so this role offers an exciting opportunity to really shape the app technology.Location: Hybrid working - Cambridge - 2 days in officeSalary: Up to £40,000 for a Graduate / £60,000 for experiencedRequirements for Android Application Developer:

  • Strong mobile app development experience on Android
  • Ideally, you will be degree-educated
  • Kotlin / Java experience
  • Flutter experience
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies
  • Innovative, self-motivated, and a great team player
  • Great communication skills - this role will be highly interactive with internal teams
Responsibilities for Android Application DeveloperYou will be involved in the full development life cycle, including requirements capture, prototyping, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of mobile apps including
  • Develop and improve the company’s Android App - over time there will be the opportunity to train and develop into developing the iOS team
  • Write clean, maintainable code
  • Implement new features
  • Improve existing codebase
  • Support with product innovation
