£33,013 per annum including location allowance.£1,000 signing on bonus, paid in 2 x £500 instalments, one in your first months pay and one after 12 months serviceGot a knack with people as well as bikes This role with havebike (now part of Halfords) will see you take your management skills to the next level. Reporting to the Hub Manager, youll be accountable for the day to day running of the Cycle Workshop basedwithin each Hub.Youll ensure the team is at optimum productivity levels, and that the standard and speed of work delivers an excellent customer experience.About the team: with your support, the team will have a clear understanding of the needs of the business and will work together to achieve targets, providing effective technical support and daily communication to enable a seamless customer journey.What youll get up to as a Cycle Workshop Manager:

• Manage workshop capacity to ensure all jobs are completed to standard
• Support Hub Manager with team engagement and retention, bringing the Cycle Workshop to life and ensuring stability
• Drive sales, margin and profit
• Support Hub Manager in capacity and deployment planning with rotas and holiday planning for all colleagues
• Delivery of training and development to the team
• Ensure Health and Safety, quality and compliance standards are met
• Ensure tooling and equipment is maintained to a high standard and calibrated as required
• Maintain an accurate stock-file through effective inventory management
• Responsible for key-holding duties and safe the operation of the Cycle Workshop
• Assist the Hub Manager with the management of the Logistics Team for Cycling Services

What we look for in a Cycle Workshop Manager:

• Evidence of delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Evidence of delivering against customer metrics and sales targets
• Experience in a junior management role
• Evidence of delivering coaching/training in the moment to ensure that customers have a great experience
• Some experience of managing capability and performance
• Some technical ability to maintain a level of flexibility for our customers
• Experience of developing colleagues through delivering technical training
• Track record of meeting compliance standards across health and safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• IT proficient, with experience of working with Microsoft packages, and the aptitude to learn in-house systems
• Experience of labour force scheduling, and associated time management skills
• A current full valid driving licence
