Job Description

Trainee Finance AssistantDescriptionAs a Trainee Finance Assistant, your main duties will include:

  • Process Weekly Timesheets;
  • Generate Weekly Payroll;
  • Raise Sales Invoices and Post to Ledger;
  • Dealing with Sales Invoice/Timesheet Queries both Internally and Externally;
  • Supporting with Credit Control;
  • Purchase Order Requests;
  • Matching Purchase Invoices to Purchase Orders and posting to Sage 50 Accounts;
  • Resolving Supplier Queries;
  • Office Stationery and Consumables Orders;
  • Various Supporting Administrative Duties for the Finance Department;
The CandidateThe successful candidate would ideally:
  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience within a similar role
  • Experience in using Sage 50 Accounts is preferred
  • Be highly motivated, self-driven and have the ability to organise and manage your time effectively;
  • Want to develop and progress alongside the business;
  • Be a confident communicator both externally and internally with clients, potential clients, candidates and office team;
  • Have strong numerate and administration skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Be a confident, calm, organised and clear thinker.
