Job Description

Technical Sales Representative - UK BASED-Were seeking a Technical Sales Representative, for Evoqua, a leading provider of mission-critical water and wastewater treatment solutions, offering a broad portfolio of products, services, and expertise to support industrial, municipal, and recreational customerswho value water.This position will be home-based (presence required at Evoquas office in Caldicot -UK- during product training period).Summary of role:

  • Sales support for Chloropac Seawater electrochlorination system spares, retrofit with the promotion of NPI (MKIV) and service. Regions covered EMEA and NAM.
  • Creating opportunities from the Chloropac installed based (IBase) for aftermarket sales / Product refit / upgrade & service by Interaction with Evoqua regional partners and existing customers
  • Collates activity data which captures; number of calls made and actions be it individual / team, value of quotations issued, and orders received as well as following-up on any open opportunities
Key responsibilities:
  • Identify and target existing customers / partners for opportunities spares / service and equipment retrofit in existing installed base (IBase).
  • Generate quotations to customers / partners to agreed timeframes using standard company procedures and systems supported by other team resources when appropriate.
  • Ensure that "committed to" deliverables at the time of quotation are realistic, can be adhered to and are met.
  • Responsibility to ensure that all communications are of the highest standards and committed to delivery dates provided at the time of quotation are realistic and can be adhered to and me
  • Maintaining a proactive approach in reviewing customer spare parts and system upgrade requirements with output being presented to the Sales Manager during weekly department meetings or on demand when required
  • Responsibility for facilitating and supporting key customer visits as agreed with the Sales Manager (note this will be in place as role develops)
Knowledge/Skills required:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate by telephone and email clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in working in a customer support role some occasional domestic / International travel may be required.
  • Relevant experience in an industrial engineering sales environment
  • Ability to work under pressure to process orders and quotations to agreed timeframes
  • Experience of Microsoft office. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • SAP business management tool experience preferred.
