Job Description

Logistics Services Lead / Supply Chain Coordinator Location: MagorPosition: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid WorkingSalary: Up to £30,000 p/a + BenefitsOur Client We are delighted to be working with this well-established, innovative, premium telecommunications company. They continue with rapid developments, with visions to be recognised by customers as premier service delivery of choice.Prioritising best in class service to their customers, logistics is at the core of their operations. There is a need for an organised individual to coordinate to ensure accurate, legally compliant and timely service delivery.Reporting to the Head of Logistics and working closely with customers, this position will be the first point of contact for all international shipments, liaising between, colleagues, agencies and suppliers to ensure a smooth running of the department. Thisis a face-paced role, a great opportunity for an individual to step up their career.Responsibilities of Logistics Lead:

  • Accountable for the smooth running of warehousing and logistics delivery duties
  • Ensuring complete compliance documentation and providing to customers
  • Oversee stock levels, regular stock count and ordering replacements / replenishments
  • Report and maintain performances, including monitoring KPIs and holding review meetings
  • Sign off / approve appropriate purchase orders and invoices
  • Assisting with international shipments and being responsible for shipping and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with laws and licences whilst shipping nationally and internationally (including outside of the EU)
  • Updating global shipping procedures and documentations
  • Carry out audits for all warehouse equipment for customer stock availability
  • Ensure all outgoing deliveries are timely and including all required documentation for customers
  • Provide monthly customer reports regarding status and movements of international logistics activities
  • Support and provide cover for the Head of Logistics when necessary
The ideal candidate:
  • Prior experience in an international logistics or stock management role
  • Ability to stablish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Problem-solving and a can do attitude
  • Knowledge of international trade would be a bonus
  • Manage time and workload effectively and efficiently
  • Proficient across Microsoft platforms and IT literate
  • Ability to multi task and work within fast-paced environments
  • Self-motivated, able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
  • Adaptive to new softwares and systems
