This highly innovative medical device manufacturer is actively looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. They are genuinely revolutionising certain applications withing their field and the successful candidate will be working on high tech, innovative products which will have a huge impact on people’s lives.As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be acting as a go between for Product Development and Manufacturing, with responsibility for managing the transition and hand over of products from the development into manufacturing. Managing design changes and optimisations and working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure products are manufactured to a high standard within relevant standards and procedures.On offer is a highly competitive salary and benefits package as well as the opportunity to work on genuinely innovative products within a rapidly growing company.Qualifications/Experience:Ideally degree qualified in a relevant engineering disciplineGood leadership skillsExperience Designing and Developing complex electro-mechanical devicesExcellent engineering & root cause analysis problem solving skillsExpertise in product and process Validation and VerificationDFMEA & PFMEA experienceFirst class engineering standards and manufacturing principlesExperience dealing with suppliers - including auditing experienceAbility to carry out failure mode analysis and support mechanical design changesProduct and process Validation and Verification expertiseExcellent Project Management skillsExperience of designing products to meet test standards.Experience working within a Quality Management System such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485Valid UK/EU driving licence
