Job Description

Maintain a strong financial control environment to provide timely, reliable financial information and support to stakeholders.This is a high profile role with a strong commercial focus. The role sits within 1 of 4 business divisions and involves building close working relationships with the Divisional Director, members of the Operations and Sales teams and customers.Client DetailsMy client is a growing highly profitable organisation that is adding head count across the business due to sustained growth. This role has been created out of growth.Description

  • Month end divisional reporting including divisional P&L and detailed analysis to gross margin level by customer and project
  • Agreement of month end results with Group Finance
  • Month end cost and revenue accruals
  • Monitor accrued revenue and track conversion of accruals to invoiced revenue, following up on any old accruals
  • Identify and help to resolve issues with debtor payment collection
  • Identify and understand gross margin variances on activities and work with divisional head to implement improvements
  • Support on bids/costing exercises
  • Drive revenue forecasting and financial planning for the business division and challenge assumptions to ensure accuracy of final forecasts produced
  • Attend divisional meetings and present and explain financial data including forecasts, monthly results and variances

  • Excellent excel skills
  • Happy to mentor the junior and wider finance teams when required
