Senior Electronic Development EngineerSouth Wales17329/510£45,000 - £65,000 plus excellent benefits A leading high-tech manufacturer at the forefront of their industry are looking to add a Senior Electronic Development Engineer to their highly skilled team. As a Senior Electronic Development Engineer you will become an integral part of the team that are working to develop cutting edge technology. You will play a major part in projects from initial conception through to completion as well as prototype creation dealing with clients from a variety of industries such as automotive and renewable. In the past 4 years the company has set up a multidisciplinary research group with the aim of supporting the rapid development of new materials and structures that may be used in these applications.Role & Responsibilities:oThe role covers all aspects of product development from concept through to product releaseoTypically involving detailing specifications, circuit design, simulation, analysis, modellingobreadboard design, PCB design, product testing, product approvals and technical documentationoSupport in the design, development and testing of robust and reliable hardware/software solutionsoDevelopment, analysis, and validation of design solutions using prototyping, simulation and testotechniquesoProducing schematics, PCB designs, BOMs and control documentation to company requirementsoInterfacing with and managing key suppliersoDeveloping conceptual requirements into specifications and project plansoTaking responsibility for managing projects and ensuring their timely completionoTesting products to satisfy performance and approval requirementsoProducing documentation and test reports to required standardsoInvolvement with fault investigation and FMEAKnowledge, Skills & Experience:oSchematic capture and PCB layoutoC/C++ Programming skillsoPower electronics experienceoBroad design experience - including digital design, analogue, thermal, EMIoAutomotive experienceoExperience of working on high-reliability/safety-critical systems and engineering standards such as ISO 26262Benefits Package:o£45,000-£65,000 oExcellent opportunities for Career progressionoPension o25 days holiday plus bank holidays oPlus further benefits If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant David Biggs directly at or call them for a confidential discussion on .
