Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are committed to delivering quality services based on the needs of the people who use them. As a Peer Mentor, you will be an expert by experience, working within a multi-disciplinary team and using a person-centred, strengths based recovery approach whilst working directly with adult service users. To be a Peer Mentor, there is a requirement that you would have had experience and input from a Mental Health Service.We are pleased to be in a position to advertise three Crisis Service Peer Mentor roles within the Caerphilly, Newport and Torfaen Home Treatment Teams in Adult Mental Health Services.The applicant in this role will have to have a lived experience of mental health, be empathetic and will be able to show an understanding of the issues faced by individuals presenting in crisis and to deliver peer mentoring support to these individuals and their Family/Carers.The role will include some administrative duties, including recording on electronic patient records.
