Job Description

Recruit 121 FinTech is partnering a long time client to assist them in their continued growth. This well-established business with a great team and an outstanding board is looking for an immediately available Head of Bi and Analytics for the next 6 months.ROLE

  • Support and lead Data Analysts, Data Warehouse Developer and Graduate Data Scientist
  • - Design strategy and manage workstreams
  • - Provide training and team development plans
  • Produce and maintain Sales and Marketing Analytics reporting, and Drive Analytics Strategy
  • - Produce accurate and useful MI for all internal teams and external clients in Tableau and SQL Server
  • - Liaise and embed in teams, updating with timely insight and targets
  • - Automate all manual Data processes using SQL Server and Tableau
  • Drive Credit Risk Strategy
  • - Develop risk monitoring of book including the delivery of scorecards, risk profiles and arrears monitoring
  • - Support development, implementation and monitoring of scorecards
  • - Build related BI reporting for Cohort performance, roll rates and Adhoc insight
  • - Support Head of Credit with Credit Risk Committee agenda and insight
  • Set and support Graduate Data Scientist agenda
  • - Support Graduate Data Scientist scheme set by the Welsh Contact Centre Forum
  • - Set agenda and support project development with graduate
  • - Support model development in a variety of chosen tools including Python and R
  • - Support Graduate with direction and understanding of outputs, and ultimately in presenting key findings to business and embedding any process improvements or models developed
  • Support Data Strategy and Development
  • - Support Data Warehouse Developer with capacity planning and project management
  • - Define the scheme of work and drive collaborative data strategy
  • - Support and drive data warehouse development
  • - Support systems integration
  • - Define data definitions across the company
    • PERSON
  • 5 years + experience in Bi and Data analytics
  • Proactive and driven
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse with C-level stakeholders as well as various teams
  • Good SQL experience, inclusive of relational databases to understand, aid and train team members when required (knowledge around Python/R is also beneficial)
  • Educated to degree level in mathematics, statistics or another quantitative field
