Job Description

Bailey Care Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for disability support workers in the Newport/Caerleon area. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to care and have experience in health and/or social care and would like to gain more experience in a variety of settings. We are looking for individuals who are available to work full time or part-time.Shift rates:

  • Monday - Friday Days £9.00 per hour
  • Monday - Thursday Nights £9.40 per hour
  • Weekend Days £9.50 per hour
  • Friday - Sunday Nights £10.20 per hour
    • As a support worker, you will work closely with the disability care managers delivering care to residents including assisting with personal hygiene, toileting needs, feeding and mobility. Previous experience is essential and successful applicants will receive training and induction.The position of a Support Worker is to ensure that the residents needs are met and to assist the team in maintaining high standards of care delivery. We are looking for candidates with a desire to provide compassionate support and care, good communication skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm to work within the team.What we need from you:Essential:
  • At least 6 months previous care experience inclusive of basic personal care.
  • Appropriate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and responsive to the working environment.
  • Practical ability, prioritisation and time management.
  • Regular covid testing may be required
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can provide if you do not have up to date)
