Job Description

Training ManagerBurton on TrentSalary: £30,000- £40,000Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 08:30 - 17:00Grafton are recruiting for a client that has a strong heritage in delivering product innovation, a true understanding of the market and is well-respected supplier to the global foodservice market with a Quality added reputation for product innovation, value-addedand high quality products.The RoleResponsible for ensuring site compliance in all aspects of training, identifying and assessing future and current training needs, creating and delivering against an agreed training strategy as well as deploying a wide variety of training methods to meetour needs.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all product specifications are created, updated and maintained according to the requirements of the company, its customers and relevant guidance, regulation and legislation adopting a right first-time approach.
  • Registration, recording, investigating and forming professional customer complaint responses. Investigations are to be completed using root cause identification methods with corrective actions adopted along continuous improvement methodology.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate the companys traceability challenges.
  • Build and manage solid trusting working relationships with internal and external customers and supplier while exemplifying the attributes associated with a first in class food safety culture.
  • Support the technical and development team ensuring all work is prioritised and completed in a timely manner meeting the demands of the customer
  • Completion of scheduled responsibilities in line with the businesses commitment to maintain certification to the BRCGS.
Essential Requirements
    • 2-3 years proven work experience as a training manager
    • 2-3 years Food Industry related experience
    • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
    • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
    • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
    • Good computer and database skills
    • Professional, proactive, organised and motivated
