Are you a software tester who has great attention to detail and who can spot issues others wouldnt see Would you like to work as part of a great team who deliver a fantastic experience to customersWe are working closely with our client based in the midlands who is looking for a a software tester who can fully understand the Virtual product range, the various methods of deployment and client requirements.You will ideally be able to demonstrate the following experience 2+ years system testing with experience of working in a fast paced agile environment. 2+ years testing in a Windows environment. Proficient with test case management software e.g. Quality centre, Enterprise Tester, TestRail. Proficient with bug / issue tracking software e.g. JIRA, TFS Ability to work in high pressure environment on multiple active projects. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of software development life cycle. Team player who can work with a diverse range of team members i.e. artists, developers, project managers. Methodical and able to compartmentalize tasks and follow them through to completion. Show tenacity in completing tasks. Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.The role will also involve Creation and housekeeping of Test Plans and Test Cases. Ensure that all released software is functionally complete, stable and tested in a timely manner. Ensure that products are of the highest quality when released. Hands on the testing (functional, UI, regression, Performance, Usability, sanity checking), with a good eye for detail. Liaise with 3rd party testing / development teams, particularly for testing end to end comms. Preparing and configuring test environments including recommendation of new hardware and software when necessary. Assisting the QA Manager in defining the best processes and tools to perform QA tasks.
