Job Description

With over 40,000 people working across our 1,600 pubs, our breweries and two support centres, a career at Greene King has no limits.Social Media Executive - Local PubsIf you have experience as a Social Media Executive, are a confident communicator and have a passion for the pub and restaurant sector then this could be the role for you!We operate a 50/50 agile working policy. On average you could expect to work 2 days a week in our Burton office and 3 days working from home.Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with the required marketing teams to understand their goals, objectives and marketing plan in order to develop engaging and high-performing social media plans that deliver the required results
  • Own the social media content plan for the Local Pubs brands ensuring content is planned advance and pushes forward our strategy
  • Create social media content that engages our fan base and is creative, engaging, entertaining and supports the brand proposition
  • Work closely with agencies & stakeholders to develop new creative content ideas that will build our brand reach, and engagement and drive traffic to our websites (and thus our pubs)
  • Aware of the latest developments, news and trending topics to put forward reactive ideas, content or activities that can elevate our brand and earn additional exposure
  • Create reports to demonstrate effectiveness of social content campaigns - attending relevant meetings to provide updates
  • Support the pub teams with updated training programmes including presenting social media workshops, developing toolkits, providing on-going support and guidance to in-trade social champions
  • Work closely with the paid media team and external agency to deliver paid social activations that deliver against brand objectives
About You
  • Experience as a Social Media Executive/Assistant
  • A genuine desire to work within the pub and restaurant sector
  • An understanding of influencer marketing
  • The ability to measure and review social media campaigns
  • Strong written and oral English language skills - able to write clearly, effectively and succinctly and able to transform technical content into understandable, concise copy
  • Proactive with strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Autonomous and confident making decisions and advising under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Personable and able to bring other people on the journey
