Job Description

Job title:HR ManagerLocation:Burton Upon TrentJob type:PermanentSalary:Up to £45,000Sector:Human Resources, MMC, TimberOur client is looking for a HR Manager to join a warm and welcoming team in their offices based in Burton Upon Trent. Working for this reputable 5-star house building company lies an opportunity to pursue a career using some of the latest technology, a tailoredcareer path, and joining a bright and talented work force.The Role:As a HR Manager, you will do the following:

  • Follow HR policies and procedures by escalating issues and providing solutions when appropriate
  • Liaise with HR Team with begin to end lifecycles of recruitment, starters, leavers, pre-employment checks, workforce changes across all manufacturing locations.
  • Co-ordinate social events, business campaigns and training for employees when appropriate.
  • Input data on HRMS and provide quality reports on GDPR.
  • Note taking at required meetings
  • Assist in the improvement of HR services and monitor standards for Occupational Health visits.
  • Process compliance checks and maintain both digital and paper documents across the business.
  • May require commitments out of office which will be coordinated with notice.

  • Accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • IT literate using Microsoft packages including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Previous experience working in compliance and confidential information to data protection regulations
  • Have or be working towards CIPD accreditation
  • Excellent numeracy skills
