Job Description

Corporate Wear has been operating since 2005 and is a growing, family run business. Together our team has a huge amount of experience and expertise in our industry. We are a positive and enthusiastic company, looking for individuals who can work in a fast paced environment.

  • Answering calls from new and existing customers
  • Responding to emails from new and existing customers
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Gathering information from customers about their requirements and recommending products to customers
  • Calculating bespoke quotes and sending them to customers
  • Adding customers and enquiries to our CRM, creating tasks and following up quotes
  • Winning new business and reporting when unsuccessful
  • Requesting proofs and liaising with our graphics department
  • Following orders through from quote to despatch and communicating/updating customers at all stages
  • Liaising with print and embroidery teams about specific jobs
  • Taking payments
  • Speaking to suppliers about products and prices; negotiating cost prices
  • Making sure order deadlines are met and communicating deadlines with the sales team and other departments
  • Checking in with customers after despatch and scheduling regular contact with them to look at any other needs they may have
  • Cross selling products to existing customers
  • Contacting potential new customers to generate leads
  • Holding customer meetings as necessary
  • Entering new products, sales and purchase orders on to Sage
  • Ordering garments through Sage and Supplier websites
  • Supporting staff in other Departments where required
  • Meeting existing and potential suppliers; researching and reviewing new suppliers
  • Tracking deliveries to customers and from suppliers, and chasing couriers if issues arise
  • Assisting managers in new tasks that may arise
  • Any ad hoc administration tasks
  • Key Skills Required:
  • Office experience - essential
  • Sales and customer service experience - essential
  • Professional telephone and customer service manner
  • Able to construct professional and comprehensive emails
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Able to take direction
  • Organised, self-motivated and shows initiative when working alone - there will be a high proportion of independent working
  • Able to plan daily, weekly and monthly workload, with daily and weekly reporting to managers on progress
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Computer literate - Outlook, Excel, Word - essential
  • CRM experience - ideal
  • Sage experience - ideal
  • The role is an office, desk based job in a small office where you may be asked to help or provide cover in other departments and with tasks not necessarily associated to your role
