Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join Food Manufacturing Company as a Food Handler based in Basildon. You will be given full training and the opportunity to progress within the company.Your Duties include;

  • Cooking and Portioning Ready to Cook dishes;
  • Packing and Picking food for delivery;
  • Pot Washing all all equipment;
  • Deep cleaning all factory Floor to adhere to hygiene policies
  • Loading / Unloading lorries during deliveries;
  • Stock control, Correct stock Rotation;
  • Filling paperwork correctly for Local authorities inspections and customer audits.
    • You MUST:
  • Love and passion to prepare and cook food;
  • Attention to details;
  • Good written and verbal English;
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work alone and unsupervised;
  • Preferably having your own transport.
    • Candidate must have (Mandatory);
  • Food safety level 2
  • HACCP knowledge
  • Good maths skills
  • Computer Literate
  • at least one "Good" Reference from previous jobs (must be contactable).
    • Hours you are working:
  • Monday - Friday - 7am-5:30pm (flexibility required) - whilst on training
  • Sundays - Thursdays - 3:30pm - 12am - once training completed
