The Treatment Room Service in East Lancashire is based in 11 Health Centres and 1 Community Centre in the five localities of Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn and Ribbledale. The service sees patients who are mobile and able to travel to a Health Centre for treatment. We are a busy service with a fast turnover of patients attending by appointment and walk-in.Treatments include all aspects of wound care, leg ulcer management, Ear irrigation, routine catheterisations and in some areas diagnostics. The service is paperless, so good computer skills are essential. Previous experience in wound care and leg ulcer management would be desirable; however support will be given to develop in all treatment room competencies.Post x 1 –37.5 hours/week. Initially in Burnley Treatment Room. Working hours are between 8.30 am and 5 pm. Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings on rota.Candidates will be expected to cover any base the service requires and sometimes this can be at short notice.
