  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • Possession of an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate on the update service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting students learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the classroom teacher, assisting with lesson planning, material preparation, and classroom organisation.
  • Offer one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support, ensuring their understanding and progress.
  • Facilitate small group activities to reinforce learning concepts and encourage student engagement.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect, tolerance, and cooperation.
  • Observe and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop individualised education plans and strategies for students with special needs.
  • Assist with the supervision of students during break times and school outings.
