Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in Childrens lives Here is an opportunity for you to work as Qualified Social Worker in Leaving Care Services where you can work with children.The rate of pay would be from£35 -£37per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To undertake pathway plan/ needs assessments for complex young people / young adults, in partnership with the young person ensuring that the young person’s voice is central to the assessment, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Together with the young person, to produce an outcome focused SMART plan, following assessment that will meet the needs of the young person/ young adult promoting independence and supporting them to adulthood.
  • To provide support, guidance, advice, and services to the young person/ young adult to ensure that issues of concern identified in the assessment are addressed in a timely manner and that the needs of the young person are reassessed and reviewed as appropriate.
  • To work as part of a multi-agency team to deliver the appropriate plan for young people/young adults you are working alongside.
Reed is now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.As an ideal candidate, you will be:
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Having experience of minimum 2 years in children fostering services.
  • Able to drive car and hold a UK Driving License.
