Job Description

The Employer & OpportunityA highly successful service provider based in Burnley are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department to cover maternity leave for at least 9 months.This business attribute their success to their dedicated employees and like to try and retain temporary employees if they feel they are a good fit for the culture and team, therefore long-term opportunities could be available.The Role:As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will report to the Financial Controller, working as part of a finance team of 5 you will be responsible for the end-to-end Purchase ledger process for your own suppliers and will focus on building lasting relationships.Your duties will include 3 way matching of invoices, resolving supplier queries and supplier statement reconciliation. You will also have responsibility for the weekly payment run and support management with any ad-hoc tasks as required.The requirements:To be considered for this role, previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role is essential.
