Newly created position for an experienced New Product Development Coordinator to join this design led, PE backed business based near Burnley. The business is a leader in its field, widely regarded in the UK market place with its products featuring in leading UK retail brands and a growing ecommerce operation evolving.Due to consistent growth and a recent significant change programme, the business has identified the need to recruit an ambitious and pro-active New Product Development Coordinator to support the Head of Product and be responsible for the smooth coordination of new product projects from concept through to integration into the supply chain.Responsibilities to include:In conjunction with the Head of Product, agree timings, document and maintain project plansCreate & update working documents for confirmed projectsEnsure projects plans remain on track, managing internally & externally all aspects of the project planEnsure any changes to the project plans are communicated in a timely mannerObtain and provide new product information Create product specificationsAccurate set up of products across all IT systemsRaise initial purchase order requirements, update suppliers and ensure order acknowledgments are correctUpdate Warehouse/Logistics team with new product activityUpdate Inventory Manager on NPD activity with initial/ongoing forecastsFacilitate launch requirements Facilitate QC Roll Inspection and QC samples for product standardsIn conjunction with the Head of Product, assist in the gathering of intelligence on product performance including life cycle analysisTo support in various reporting and information requestsEssential experienceCandidates must have previous new product development and project coordination experience gained within the home décor sectorMust be comfortable working within a fast-paced supply chain environmentStrong communication, administration & IT skillsRecruiting a similar roleBis Henderson work with businesses to hire professionals on a permanent and interim basis across professional, management and executive roles.Specialising in Supply Chain recruitment, Logistics recruitment, Procurement recruitment and eCommerce recruitment, we deliver candidates that meet your objectives - every time.For more information please call .Bis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
